“ Got two slices one basic cheese and one grandma style. Was 9pm at night one person in front of me and the place smelled bad of fish sticks. The basic cheese slice was not good. Sauced tasted like chef o r dddd. Little to no cheese on it. The grandma slice was solid. Really cheesy and flavorful. Not a place I'd go to sit though not a Great ambiance. ”
“ Thunderbolt Pizza is hands down our favorite date night spot! My husband and I always look forward to our visits--whether we're craving their delicious pizza, their perfectly crispy wings, or a refreshing beer. And don't even get us started on their Caesar salad--it's the perfect crisp, tangy side to balance everything out! Oh, and their sandwiches made with pizza dough as the bread? Absolute game-changer. The dough is crispy and flavorful, it takes the sandwich to another level. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, making it the perfect spot for a casual but special evening out. The flavors never disappoint, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this local gem. It's become our go-to spot, and we can't recommend it enough! ”
“ Found this place online as I was craving pizza. This place is a Vibe ! When we walked in, the host greeted us immediately. It was so cute, lively and warm. I already looked at the menu online so had some good ideas of what we wanted. We ordered the arugula & mozz salad, you're so cheesy & 16 inch BBQ chicken pizza. We decided to dine in so we sat inside , tables readily available. Football on for my husband which is always a plus. The salad came so fast and looked so delicious. I'm not a big mushroom fan but honestly didn't taste them at all. They were raw, the mozz overpowered them and it was very tasteful. Every bite. Within 15 minutes our cheesy bread and pizza came. I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza and honestly this exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious. The house made ranch is worth every penny. I'll buy a gallon. We will be back. Thank you thunderbolt. ”
“ Yet again, ordered a pizza to be delivered next door to Ambitious Ales. One can scan the QR code on each table, and order via the web page. 16" Cheese Pizza ($17) with extra cheese ($2.50), italian sausage ($2.50), pineapple ($1.50), and half mushrooms ($1), red bell peppers ($0.75). The pizza is New York style, and was just the right amount for the four of us for lunch. I really love the thought put in to make sure one pays for the toppings ordered (e.g. sausage should cost more than peppers), and how you can customize each half. Didn't really think the extra cheese was noticeable. Small Caesar Salad ($7) - all ingredients were very fresh, but the salad was small and very ordinary: basically some romaine lettuce with some freshly grated parmesean cheese, croutons, and dressing. Skippable next time. ”
“ i was trying an elimination diet so i may be a little bit biased due to the gf withdrawals but oh man.... this pizza!!!!!!!!! love the addition of the hot honey on this perfect pepperoni pizza. it wasn't drenched in oil like that other popular pizza spot (that got sold off and has been continuously going downhill) i was looking for the next best pizza in lb and this is it guys. i recommend ordering ahead with plenty amount of time bc they take a while. the wait is worth it. the sweetness isn't too overpowering either. it's just enough to give the contrast in flavors we got it to go and we heated up the oven so that we can enjoy at its optimum temp. the dough is also perfect. chewy and soft. i can't wait to have it again. ”
“ Thunderbolt Pizza is a cozy and inviting spot that truly feels like a neighborhood gem. Whether you choose to dine on the outdoor patio with heating lamps or sit inside near the big-screen TV, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Watching the chefs prepare pizzas in the brick oven adds to the experience. During my visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and shared that this is their busiest time of year because no one wants to cook during the holidays. He also mentioned he's originally from Brooklyn and ensures every pizza is served with top-notch quality--and it shows. While the restaurant is on the smaller side, the food and service more than make up for it. The pizzas are hot, fresh, and delicious, and the staff is attentive and kind. Thunderbolt Pizza is a must-visit if you're in the area and craving great pizza in a cozy, community-friendly setting. ”
“ Came back here after forgetting I was last here years ago. Can confirm the pizza still hits. In this end-of-2024 economy, the price was actually better than I remember it--pretty good for artisan pizza. It was a Thursday night with plenty of seating, but just keep in mind this plaza gets super crowded so you may have to wait or park on the street. I just learned that you can actually get beer at the brewery nearby and they will bring pizza over there which is super dope--love to see small businesses support each other. After 3 years the pizza stood the test of time. We got the Colpo Di Fulmine and it was great; just the right texture, fold to the crust, and well-balanced toppings. Keep in mind there's a pretty big menu of other non-pizza items too if you're not feeling pizza. Will have to be back to try them! ”
“ Ok, where to start!? This will be my second time here in a week lol. First things first. - they have a private parking lot which is great and they have a covered patio that is dog friendly (they have heaters as well in the covered patio) I met a great friend of mine a few days ago here, they had the door open but wasn't officially open yet (they were still Setting up, they were opening in about 7 minutes) I went up and asked if it's ok I go inside and wait for my friend. They let me in and I sat down in their covered patio. My friend got there shortly after. Our waitress was super friendly, brought out waters and even a huge pitcher of water and then took our order. (The second time I came everything was set up and had a sign at the cash register saying to order there and then they bring your food. Also, water is self serve. I had no idea! And I'm so sorry to the waitress who took care of us and was too friendly to tell us to get up and go get our own water and order / pay at the register when you first walk in) We ordered two pizzas. One with pesto and chicken. And the margherita pizza. Everything was delicious! I loved the pizza, I loved the service and I had zero complaints I came here a second time with family a couple days later. Emily took care of us and she was so great!!! We walked in and noticed the sign saying to order at the register. (Behind the register you can see the pizzas being made in their awesome Wood fire oven) We ended up getting the NYC white pie. Which was delicious and had cracked pepper on it. We also got an order of garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. We also got sides of ranch which tasted like they make it in house with tons of dill. The sauce for the garlic knots and mozzarella sticks was delicious as well. Also, bonus points for how fast our food came out (on both visits here) We paid and took our number to our table and sat ourselves. Emily was so great. Her personality and smile was contagious! She kept complimenting my nails and was sooo friendly. When our food came out I instantly started taking photos, which I always get shy and embarrassed when a worker sees me doing this lol. But Emily was allllll about it! Saying to put it on yelp, instagram and everywhere. So it was great I had someone hyping me up lol. I absolutely loved Emily. I hope management sees this and sees how amazing she is. I think it's safe to say Food- 5 stars Service -5 stars Variety of pizza and sides / appetizers 5 stars the fact they are dog friendly 5 stars Great parking 5 stars The prices are really reasonable as well. Our large pizza was 20 dollars - 5 stars for price They do serve beer and wine They have vegan options Also, the crust on this pizza is amazing. It's perfectly cooked in their wood fire oven. It also says that it is Brooklyn style. Which explains why I love it so much. It's a great slice of New York pizza without all the grease. It really is cooked to perfection. It's probably the best pizza crust I've had Since I've been here twice in one week, I think it's safe to say I'll be returning and hope Emily is taking care of us again ”
